For the last 5 years, I have so enjoyed the family-like atmosphere with the staff as well as our elders. The Pines Shines every day!

Karen Thomas, Therapy Manager

Home, with all our personal family, is naturally the place we want to be. Sometimes what we have and what we need is unexpectedly taken from us for a little while or a long time. Some are here for rehabilitation, which is UNQUESTIONABLY far above the BEST of therapies I have known. It scores an EXCELLENT, so far above so many others within the region.

The administration is on top of things at each twist and turn and ALL staff no matter which field, or job is theirs, are caring, kind, empathetic and have the ability to achieve satisfaction with the residents and families.

Home away from home is not necessarily what many places have. This is not an easy field in which to work, but all of them prove their worth with their zest and zeal no matter what the day brings their way.

HOME…The Pines is THE home away from home!

Lorraine Stracener – Elder

I have had the honor of working for the Pines Nursing and Rehab Center for two years. When I came here as an employee, I was touched by the warmth I felt in our home. Over these few years, it has become home to me. I have worked in several different roles and there have been rewards in each one. The Pines Nursing and Rehab center is more than just the place I work; it is where my family is. I know the love I will experience every day as I arrive, from the elders. I am greeted with beautiful smiles and warm hearts each day from our elders and families.

Ashlee Holler, Social Services Director

My dad was at The Pines Nursing and Rehab for four and a half years. The staff was very caring and professional. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for short-term rehab or long-term care.
